In this year’s project we plan to continue what we started out in the previous years. We have to do this, because in 2021, we were entrusted with 9 minors: 7 girls and 2 minor mothers, all saved from child abuse or trafficking; 6 girls will come in the upcoming months. By 2023, 9 girls over the age of 18 will transition to an independent life, including a mother and her little girl. We want both newly rescued girls and those who are transitioning to independent living to receive specialized assistance, according to their needs, in order to reduce the risk of revictimization. We already offered residential post-trauma intervention for 24 minors, and now we want to add counseling and vocational guidance and expand assistance for at least 10 young girls over 18, and proceed with leadership workshops, mentoring, and accommodation in a sheltered apartment for at least 6 young girls. Together with the community, we continue to write stories of hope, which we can tell to other vulnerable young women, through an online publication. Together we continue to restore the picture destroyed by abuse, to perfection.
